The family of renowned Ghanaian actress, Nadia Buari, has finally opened up on the alleged sex video involving the sexy fair-skinned actress and an unknown muscular black young man.

Speaking on Peace FM’s “Entertainment Review” program last Saturday October 15, 2011, father of the actress and head of the Buari family, Alhaji Sidiku Buari, was categorical that there is no way his daughter would be involved in such a dirty act.

The former President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) revealed that someone called to threaten him that if he fails to pay an amount of $100,000, the image of his daughter will be “destroyed”. He linked the threat of blackmail to the release of the alleged sex video since the sex act was released on the internet moments after receiving the call.

“Someone called and threatened me that he will blackmail us and that we should come and pay $100,000 to him otherwise he will destroy my family’s image…but i told him he can go ahead…because…nobody can destroy anybody’s image. For this family, it will be very difficult to destroy our image nobody can destroy this family. Almighty God is behind us and that is the end of it,” Alhaji said.

When host of the show, Kwasi Aboagye, probed further on the threat of blackmail, Alhaji reiterated that “yes someone called and this not the first time but the fact is that God has raised the image of this girl and nobody can put her down”.

According to him, they tried tracking down the blackmailer but they hit a dead end when it turned out that even the mobile number used was an invalid one and the source of the video virtually untraceable.

“So we saw that it was a waste of time but I only pray that whoever is doing this, may God forgive him because the person doesn’t know what he is doing. There is no way that person can succeed in whatever he is doing because whatever he is doing is rather raising our image”. Continue reading here. Thank you.
