President Mills responding to UK Prime Minister David Cameron

President Mills speaking to journalists in response to Prime Minister Cameron’s threat to cut UK aid to African countries which abuse the rights of gay citizens, said Ghana will not capitulate to the United Kingdom or any country for that matter.

“No one can deny Prime Minister Cameron his right to make policies, take initiatives or make statements that reflect his societal norms and ideals but he does not have the right to direct other sovereign nations as to what they should do especially where their societal norms and ideals are different from those which exist in Prime Minister’s society,” he stated.

He said Ghana will not legalise homosexuality on the say-so of Mr Cameron.

“I as president of this nation will never initiate or support any attempt to legalise homosexuality in Ghana,” he asserted.

“Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman;that is detestable”.Leviticus 18:22.And also from Leviticus 20:13, if a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death;their blood will be on their own heads”.

Even the animals in our homes will not reduce themselves to such state of depravity by same sex (gay and lesbianism). This abominable practice must not be legalize in Ghana.

Well done Mr. President for telling Prime Minister David Cameroon the truth. I pray that let the African Presidents see this example and speak for their children and people instead of speaking for the interests of homosexuals who have bribed most western leaders through election cash to put pressure on African Government to betray the will of their own people. Let the media in Africa also take a lesson from Presidents Mills answer to speak the truth on behalf of her people instead of the traitor it has always played by allowing to be controlled from the western world by promoting homosexuality and hiding its horrors. The media in Africa should not hide the destructive effect of homosexuality and the lies used to propagate it. Homosexuals are interested in perverting children and youths. African leaders and lawmakers should not make the same mistake the African Chiefs made. They sold off young men and women for beads, clothes, gun powder etc. History should not be allowed to repeat itself. We cannot sell our children for Money. If we do we shall sink together with the western world. No civilization has survived the corruption of homosexuality. The Greek and the Roman civilizations all crumbled under the weight of its sins due to the evil of homosexuality. When people begin to parade homosexuality shamelessly, it is a sign that their destruction is very near. Africa should say No! to cultural imperialism.

Thank you Mr.President.I don’t think your intention is to bluff anybody but to state the feeling s of your people.Let me tell you how the ‘free aid’ has affected the people in the Northern Region of Ghana. An agric extension officer told me how somebody gave farmers aid by providing cost of ploughing, free seeds, weeding money, and asked the farmers to harverst the crops themselves and improve their lives. The farmers told the ‘helper’ to just complete his ‘goodness’by harvesting for them. The helper was shocked.I
In the Northern Region today if you use your money to organise a forum to educate people on anything that affects their lives and you don’t provide payment, make sure next time you organise similar forum you will not get anybody.
That is how far the ‘free aid’ has affected us.We can no longer exploit what we have.We are always waiting for ‘aids’

@Pastor Ziblim Mohammed – actually homosexuality has been observed in over 1500 species. It is not an ‘abominable practice’ it is actually something quite natural.

@Ifeanyi “same sex marriage is not african”????? African is a very dynamic and complex continent – dont degenerate it with simplistic comments. what about Africans who are gays, are they not real africans?
