Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah – A brief Biography

Francis Nwia-Kofi Nkrumah was born on September 21, 1909, at Nkroful (in the Western Region of present day Ghana) in what was then the British-ruled Gold Coast. His father, Kofi Ngonloma of the Asona Clan, was a goldsmith and his mother, Elizabeth Nyanibah of the Anona Clan, a retail trader. He was a baptized Roman Catholic Christian.
