. . . I want to create some form of awareness to educate the average Ghanaian about this disease, most people haven’t even heard about it especially those in the rural areas. I believe every Ghanaian deserves to know their status in order to live a healthier life accordingly, will work hand in hand with doctors to spread the word.Will organise screening services with selected hospitals and doctors to help out.as at today, 600,000 Ghanaians are reported to be suffering from glaucoma so I urge every one to go for screening to check. God has given as a wonderful life and world so lets take care of our eyes to experience and enjoy His creation and works.THE EYE IS OUR BODY’S CAMERA. It pictures, records, stores and play what we see . . .

Keep up the good work Obaa hema 🙂

    please forward to Yvonne;

    I am a physician in the US, but have a personal stake in promoting glaucoma awareness in Ghana because my sister lost her sight in her 20’s in Ghana from unrecognized glaucoma.
    She has since promoted awareness og the disease, and did a radio program about the problem while she was visiting Ghana a couple of years ago.
    I noticed you went to Martin de Porres school, so I’m sure you will recognize my name.
    If you are still interested in promoting glaucoma awareness, send me a reply soon.
    Regards,
    Grace Laast A. , MD
